2004 Civic Si Projector Headlights

2004 Civic Si Projector Headlights
I installed a pair of Depo projector headlights. The factory high beam bulbs fir but the low beams did not. I went to Auto Zone and found a pair of H7 halogen bulbs that fit the headlights. Unfortunately while they fit they only stay illuminated for about 5 minutes before some over temperature thing that must be internal to the bulb cuts them off. Am I using the wrong bulb - is there another bulb that will work? Has anyone had any experience with these headlights?
