Rep Power: 0 kicker comp VR subs
Does anyone have good/bad experience with these? The sales guy at the local shop recommeded them to me for my price range (~$150 US or so) and I was wondering if anyone has tried em out.

Rep Power: 313 the comp VR that has no ribed surround sounded like ***. MASSIVE spl with power tho
ive only heard the new ones in store, they sounded like they have the old VR potential, but they were in a bandpass box. ive talked with a kicker representative, he told me that the new comp VR's (with teh ribbed surround) have GREATLY improved SQ. this is the feeling i get from all ive talked to who own them, however, improving on the old ones wasnt a hard task
SUPPOSEDLY, the NEW comp VR's are supposed to be REALLY close to the old skool round solobarics. never heard one ever, so i dont know.
and i think you should be able to get comp VR's for $100 or so online. the old comp VR's are now less than $100 online.............
of course, $150 if your buying at a store id say is a killer deal, cause you get warrantee too (I assume the shop is a kicker dealer?) so sounds like a pretty good deal to me......
