Cruise Control Disengages when headlights are turned on
Cruise Control Disengages when headlights are turned on
Yes, apparently a few people have had this problem. I've looked around and found a few threads on the issue, but no solutions. If anyone knows what the problem is or how to diagnose it, please let me know. I just drove 10 hours round trip to and from New Orleans with no cruise!!!

are the fuses okay? sounds like some sort of reverse feedback problem that is affecting the brake/cruise switch. may try putting a blocking diode on the power wire of the switch.

Which fuses control the CC? I just looked and don't see any listed 'cruise control' under the dash or under the hood? I'd imagine they're fine, since the CC works fine with the headlights off.

for a 7thgen, since you posted in 7thgen forum, check number 10 and 4 fuses under the dash, and number 7 in the engine bay fuse box. also check to make sure the horn works and the tach. if the fuses are okay, it might be a bad ground.
