Ground

I have 4gauge power and ground wires running to my amp...with the ground wire do I need to use a ring/spade connector where I bolt it to the car or can I just use a metal washer bolt combo with the bare wire and tighten it down really well? Reason is I can't find ring/spade connectors for 4 gauge wire anywhere...not even my local car audio shop has em. Sorry for the retarded question.

I found them at Autozone for a dollar or two. try there. i imagine it woudl be really hard to bolt to the bare wire.

Thanks for the tip... i was thinking the washer would help with that, giving a larger area to squash down the wire to the metal
