Head Light Question

Hello,

After I sanded and polished my headlights I noticed I have a light burnt out in my headlights, it's not the headlight it self or the corner markers, its the little circular one thats in the middle of headlight and the corner markers.

In the picture it's the circular one within the silver, i am wondering what this is called and if i can replace it without having to take my front bumper off, i have a haynes manual for repairs etc but cannot find that little light being mentioned within it, anyways i will take my bumper off eventually to clear the lights cuz i hate the amber color in the headlight, but its getting cold out soon I feel.

thanks,
dustin.

Re: Head Light Question

its just a parking light. stock is 168, but if you want a bit brighter go with w5w bulb. you can reach the bulb by taking off part of the fender liner above the tire and stick your hand in behind the headlamp.

Re: Head Light Question

philips XP H4 bulbs are the best by far if you want a legal 55w bulb. brighter and whiter than stock. and yeah they fit right in the headlight no modifications (except maybe adjusting the vertical aim, since it changes with every bulb).

Re: Head Light Question

walmarts here never carried philips. in fact i havent seen a single store that does! kragen, autozone, walmart all carry sylvania, walmart has crappy GE too (their mini bulbs are okay tho and cheap). back in IL we had a meijer and they had every bulb philips made at the time.
