mmm, nice!! I'm sure I'll be happy with just 1 12" from what I've been reading. I wont be entering any
competitions, so I'll be fine. It'll be nice to have a useful trunk AND some good bass =)

oh yeah... ever put a grill on one of these? I'd hate to hurt the cone on accident, just wondering if you
knew of any of any GOOD looking grills, protection for the cone... but also doesn't make it look TOO ugly.

hrmm... interesting idea. the thought of seeing towel hangers on a sub is funny though. I might just try something like that!

earthquake doesnt make 600 watt amps. but yeah, i was thinking they were D2's at first and i thought "THAT cant be right..."

hahah. probably a pair of thrust700's. give them a healthy 1500 watts RMS, thats at 12.4 volts too, AND underrated, the birthsheet always says more

earthquake is the ****. now if only it came with a better crossover

that's a PH 2.5 (550Wrms) and a 2.3 (130Wrmsx2) and 3 old Eclipse 6ohm DVC's...I just checked Earthquakes site..those are the only 2 amps that have those heatsinks..

for that generation, they all have that heatsink design. and its a universal endcap.

unless they sold me a 2.5 and called it a 4.3!

edit: yeah, they DO seem to be different sizes tho. could very possibly be a 2.5 and a 2.3! did you ask the owner what they were? cause it seems to me that those subs can take ALOT more power than 550 watts.......

and the 2.3 is 130x2 into 2 ohms.... kinda misleading... =p
