HID TYC Wiring Problem...No power??

Ok so i bought a set of eBay HID 6000K H1 and i will be putting them in some TYC projectors. I have an 01 2dr LX. So before i put them in i want to make sure they work correct? So to test them i hooked them up like this.
Name: BallastWiring.jpg
Views: 98
Size: 9.1 KB

I did this with the 2 bulbs i have and i have 3 ballast(all same).....I tried the first 2 i received and they didnt work, i requested a working pair, and they sent me one that was Supposed to work. I cant help but think its the way i am wiring them or there is some small detail i am missing..... I have a relay as well and looked over Gearbox's diagram. I wired all the first 2 correctly(i think) and they did not come on. I am trying to simplify the wiring so i can actually see if they work.

ANy input on why this would not light the bulbs up? and "Cause its from ebay" is not a good answer, its basically all the same ****. 60 bucks or 250)

im assuming the + and - in the drawing are the battery terminals. if so, they should light up no problem so long as the bulbs are good. i never had issues with my first and only pair of "yourhid" ballasts off ebay. and they were only $100 for the kit.

Funny question but you have popped the fuse out to see if its good right? I have the set from "yourhid" and they worked fine for me.

Can't you just apply the + and - directly to the battery? I mean it shouldn't blow it b/c everything in the car draws from the battery and then you can work from there to figure out if it is the ballast, bulb, or your wiring. Good luck and get some pictures of the final product.

Re: HID TYC Wiring Problem...No power??

if you go straight to the battery, they should work. if you're connecting to the headlight connector without a harness, then stop, buy a harness and try again. you need a relay harness. if you have a harness, then make sure it's for a ground switched H4 system. if it's a positive switched, it won't work with our cars.
