Cable through the firewall 2009 Civic coupe
Cable through the firewall 2009 Civic coupe
I've seen several posts regarding how to get a power cable through the firewall into the cabin, but none seem to apply to a 2009 Civic coupe. I had a 2001 Civic and had no problem getting a #12 power line through, but the 2009 specific model is very different. Even the 2008 directions don't apply as far as I can tell. Can anyone offer advice on how to get a #12 power line from the battery to the inside of the cabin? I am heading for the trunk, but if I can get it into the cabin, I'm home free. Keep in mind this is for a 2009 Civic Coupe, earlier models Civics are different don't seem to apply.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Okay first off for ANY AMP 12 gauge is not enough. It is a big fire hazard for a lot fo reasons. Minimum for any amp is 8 gauge I strongly recommend 4 gauge. Next up look on the passenger side towards the middle of the fire wall for a blank grommet a blank rubber circle. That is were you want to run your power wire a very good and safe place.
