Hi i was wondering if the Acura EL's(01-05) center console would fit plug n play into my Civic SI 2004(canadian SI sedan 4drs) And do they lite up red?(like the coupe Civic(01-05) i'm not talking about the auto ones, i've seen some non-auto on eBay.

The reason is because i'm tired of the white lights at night, i want it red and I do not want to get into a DIY led mods or anything. I rather have it plug n play lol. Of course it doesnt matter if it come off the EL or the Civic I just want that red lol.

technically, you dont need the full console, all you need is the 2 climate control units that are in the console, they can be bought seperate at the dealer, or if you find someone who is selling their's, its a simple unscrew the old, screw in the new one and of course, plug and play, going for the red means you gotta find those units that come from the coupe.

but to answer your question, yes, the EL console is a plug and play for the civic si, i dont know about the color of the lighting though, sorry.

Well I think EL's lite up in orange well I think i'll go get it at the dealer then..ya thanks i haven't thought about the 2 climate controle units.

Hey guys I just swapped out the units BUT there's something wrong the Recirculation and A/C buttons does not light up. I'm using my units just swapped the buttons for the amber/red (condoms I guess?)

What's wrong here? is it the bulb? (it worked fine before swaps)

Check and see if the bulb is screwed in tight. Might of popped out.
