Hello,
I have noticed on my 2001 EX there is a fuse for seat heaters under the dash. I don't believe I have seat heaters because there are no switches for that anywhere. Plus my seats are not leather. My question is:
Where is the other end of that wire? I want to tap into it to use its 20 amps.

You don't have seat heaters in your car. also you don't need to have leather seats for seat heaters. but back on topic the fuse panel on the car has a spot for heated seats. But this was never and option in the U.S. the U.K. versions of the car has heated seats cause the civic is considered more of a luxury car over there of course they don't really get snow over there so we kinda get screwed.

the other end of the wire that you are looking for should be in a connector that hooks into the chassis harness probably underneath the center console. the problem is you don't have the right chassis harness to hook up heated seat. if you want to use it your best bet is to get the shop manual or the electrical troubleshooting shop manaul and trace the wiring through that.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to use the wire for other electric goodies because I am all ready using the cigarette lighter.
