What did i do?
First off, this isn't my car.(civic 2004 coupe) but i'm the jerk that left the headlights on and killed the battery. for the second time mind you. the first time we jumped it w/ cables and my truck and everything was fine. (oh by the way, its my girlfriends car. and needless to say, shes not happy)
this time a friend of mine helped jump it w/ a duracell powerpack 600. when we attached it to the contacts, it sparked, more so than what ive seen before when jumping cars.
the car then didn't start. we checked the fuses and the battery fuse was blown. replaced it the next day and it started fine w/ cables. but.....
the radio has no power
the power locks dont work unless the key is turned and the battery is on
and the interior lights dont work.
i checked the fuses to these devices. none appeared blown. but i replaced the radio one w/ a new one just to be safe and sure. still didn't work. so.....
my fear is i've surged something major and expensive somewhere.
can anyone give me an idea of what may have happened?

thanks a lot craigW. the "back up" fuse was blown. learn something new everyday. it fixed the problem w/ the fob and the lights. but the radio is still out.
are there any other suggestions out there?

Haha..I had the same problem except I crossed the power wires when installing my new deck...Took me forever to figure out there was a "back up" fuse. Glad you got it working!

hahaha....i have got to be the biggest idiot in the world. so i was happy to find out all the other electrics came back on. but the radio didn't. and then i was driving and it dawned on me. HIT THE POWER BUTTON YOU MORON. i did, and it works. everything was fine. thanks alot again craig.

wow i am too....i forgot that i did the same thing....i didn't push the power button...i remember two days later my gf got in the car with me and she was like lets get some music..and just as i was saying doesn't work..(all macho like i knew why it was broken) and bang...we got sound! but glad to see it work!!!
