ground noise

i checked grounds, deck power str8 from the battery, ground for deck is on a different point of the chassy. my deck has a built in noise filter, which is attached on the yellow power cable.

i have two amps, 1 for sub, 1 for speakers, 1 capacitors, 2 power distribution block, so both are on one power and one ground, the ground is on the chassy right behind the back seats.

im running a 2ga wire for power and ground

and i still get noise.

it doesnt annoy me but it will be great if i dont have noise.

Re: ground noise

are your RCA wires close to your amp power wires? im no expert but my buddy had a grounding noise and to fix it all we did was move the RCA wires away from his power wires.

Re: ground noise

yeah, power/ground wires on one side of the car. RCA's on the other side. if they do have to cross, cross them at right angles to each other.

Re: ground noise

nope they dont cross, when you open the seats at the back, my power and ground is on the left and the RCA's are on the right, they dont cross.

is there another place where i can ground the GROUND LOL instead of behind the seats...

Re: ground noise

it maybe my EQ, it may be defective, because if i just hook up my lines directly to the amp its fine...

when i hook up my lines to the eq with the eq off the noise is still there.
