i got my system installed on the factory deck everything sounds nice EXCEPT when i turn the radio off
OH MY LORD the damn subs go crazy from feedback.....

what parts are there that i should look for to ground it properly if it's the problem.

could it be that factory ground wire in the engine bay? the sound is deadly gotta get it fixed.

well if you turn the radio off and the subs are still going it's because your amps aren;t turning off with your HU like they are supposed to..Where did you wire your remote turn on lead to???

hmm you know what that is exactly the problem hmm

its wired to the factory deck and there isn't a remote wire on the factory deck so hmm i guess that is
the problem.....lemme see what i can do about that ......

i'm gonna talk to the guy who installed it see what can be done till i get the harness for the new deck

Or spend $2 at radioshack.. by a little switch..have a trick switch in your car and kill 2 birds with one stone..add style..and usefulness

naw no need to add anything i will just leave it ....it's only when i go on tha phone and i press the off button on the deck it does it ....it turns off when the car is off so it's all good when i get this new deck kit for the car i wont have nothing to worry about........

i'm trying to find one in ontario/ canada that wont make me have to take out the holder that i got because i want the lid on it and the aftermarket kits dont have the lid. yes i do use that lid a fair amount for different things so it's important to me that i have it .........if anybody knows anywhere in toronto . ontario that i can get a kit with the lid then gimme a message

Just find a shop that sells Metra kits..if they don't have one in stock..order the kit that lets you retain your stock pocket... a warning though..some people have had some problems with that kit.
