How Much Sound Deadening?

So I have read the many threads about sound deadening, but I have still not managed to find how much you guys have used. I am planning to get some sort of deadening this week and I'm not sure how much to get. I'm probably gonna do my trunk, doors, and wheel wells.

Thanks,
Elix1r

Did any of you cover the Dynamat with carpet or something a little more visually appealing when you did your trunk lid?

Re: How Much Sound Deadening?

RAAMMat FTW.

Also, Ensolite foam is a good cover for any kind of sound deadener. The deadener will add mass to the metal and change the resonant frequency, but the ensolite will really soak up any sounds that do get through.

Don't skimp, do t right and it'll be one of the best mods you can do. Doing the floor is a PITA, but it is definitely worth it for the major noise reduction.
