All,

My fiance has a 2005 Civix EX (not Special Edition). She loves it but she really likes SIRIUS (I have it in my car). Her head unit just has a 1 disc CD player. Is there any other Honda head unit that will fit in this car that has satellite compatibility (I did the same thing with my car, just got the upgraded head unit and installed it in). Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

go to best buy or another electronics store and get an aftermarket head unit with satellite radio ability integrated into it, if you arent sure ask an associate to show you the certain ones with that capability. then ask them for a head unit adaptor that fits that year civic, and they will grab you a little kit matching to your car year and model that will replace your old trim around the head unit to fit the new one.

I believe the special edition civic's radios come satellite radio ready but its not worth the money trying to put a stock honda radio in the car. Just buy an aftermarket headunit.....there alot better than stock with alot more options and control

You can get an aftermarket RCA to factory CD changer plug adaptor. Blitzsafe, Peripheral, crutchfield should have some info.
