subs go nuts when hit bumps

subs go nuts when hit bumps

i drive and my subs just start blastin with bass and it wont stop til i hit the brakes to move my box around a lil...i think it might be a connection problem but dont know where ex. inside the box are the conections to the amp...its really annoying and wanna fix this...any help guys

check the ground first, then check the wires to the back of the sub box, i bet its a loose connection

well if bass blasts, it just sounds like constant power/signal. So i bed itd be the RCA's.

your box needs to be bolted down first. i used 2 hinges to mount mine to the car's frame behind the seats. i have a single 12.



i'd come up with a solution to immobilize the box before you worry about wiring problems. they'll only continue otherwise.

Yeah, like someone already said, since they're firing, it's probably a signal wire rather than a ground wire. I'd check to make sure it's not just something as brutally simple as a loose RCA connector.
