What are some good wires for an 02 civic that has the coils intigral to the plug wires.I've herd varying comments on Nology wires.Is there a way or kit to change to single coil and plug wires?

theyre called coil packs. There is no such thing as spark plug wires on our car. and no, changing the coil packs is not a good idea, it does absolutely nothing. there used to be a company who made a set, but i doubt theyre still around and buying them is a total waste of money.

well nology does make plug wires for our cars but they are what some would call god awful to look at and basically add more resistance. they go between the coilpacks and the spark plugs. just go to the nology website it has pics of them on the k20 engine. but as other have said stock will do just fine and your wasting money if you get them. and for the record i have the upgraded coilpacks and they go for $600 and change new. i got mine for alot alot less.... but the only thing they did is make the car drive better up hills and not drop off is much after about 5500 rpm.... really not a big difference. either way ignition is just fine stock.

AEM also makes an ignition setup where it replaces the coil packs with two individual, external coils, and then you run wires to the plugs. The benefit of this setup is it has an integrated two-step (maybe three, I don't remember) so you can have launch control for a drag setup. It's called the AEM CDI Coilpack Ignition.
