dash kit and harness for aftermarket stereo?...

i am planing on getting a pioneer deh-p7400, gonna get it off the net, so i know that it wont come with the dash kit and harness. where can i get that stuff? can i just go to bestbuy or circuit city? i want to install it myself to save money. also, i heard from the audio rep at ultimate electronics that the old civics(6th gen) had problems with installing aftermarket stereos, something to do with the keyless entry system screwing up, does the 7th gen have that problem?

You can buy the harness and install kit at best buy, or circuit city or pretty much any car audio shop. I'm not sure about the keyless entry and problems though. I Know with the 6th gens there was little bypass module for them. Maybe somepme else can answer that one.

Cheers

The 7th Gens do not have the same problems that the 6th Gens had. I ordered my mounting kit and wiring harness from PartsExpress.com

i have the same head unit you do, slick, and installed it myself. $15 for dash kit and $15 for wiring harness at best buy... looks really good and not too tough of an install if you have an afternoon to spend
