Ok, here is what I got:

Kenwood KDC MP8017 H/U
MB Quart 6.5 Components DSD-216
MB Quart 6X9's DKC-169
Lightning Audio Strike 10" Sub
Kenwood 800 Watt 5 Channel Amp KAC-959

Amp runs all 5 speakers
Sub box is a downward firing sub box. fairly small, not a block boomer. Which is what I wanted.

So WHat do ya think??

So far not bad.. all decent enough. the HU and the 5th channel on that amp are it's 2 things I'd say should be improved..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. get a seperate amp just for the sub..and a better HU... not to say it's bad..it's a pretty good system... but I'm not a fan of regular Kenwood HU's due to a history of problems I've personally had with them.. Other's will disagree though.

Cool, I can agree w/ the Kenwood issue. I bought one about 5 years ago & within the same day I got it, the faceplate broke. I only went w/ this one cuz I didnt want an Aiwa or a JVC @ the shop I bought it from. Down the road I want to get either the NEO 45 MP3 Jukebox MP3 player or the Phatnoise one (which comes as a kenwood) for the MP3's (I got 3705 of them). I also agree w/ the seperate amp for the sub. It sounds good now though, But I think I will get a new amp & a better sub down the road. As far as the H/U, I will wait till this one pisses me off..

its better than what I have, but that is slowly changing. give me until the summer and everything will be ready. hehe.

Actually the Lighting subs have proven to be pretty damn good [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. they're RF Punch HX2's with soem cosmetic differences.
