hey guys its me again haha. im setting up my sound system and build it from ground up. just curious as to what speaker sizes are for the front speakers, front tweeters and rear speakers. i hav a 2005 honda civic lx coupe. any info would be great guys. pls help thx.

coupe = 6x9 sedan = 6-1/2 for rear
for front they're both 6 - 1/2

wow guys thanks for the great input. i luv this site o another question. if i switch the factory speakers for the front and the back. will i hav to put an amp to control the power to all the new speakers ??? i hav an amp for my sub already...suggestions ??

i changed my fronts and with just an aftermarket HU they were pretty good. the highs were much more clear. click the link in my sig for how to change the front speakers. 6.5" speakers is what you what for the front. you'll need a spacer and you'll have to drill mount holes. there's no way around either one. spacer depth depends on what speaker you choose. with the window rolled down, you've got 1.75" before you hit the window. so if your speaker is 2.125" deep, you need at least a 1/2" spacer. i used a 3/4" spacer on a speaker that was 2" deep (after mounting) and everything fit and the door panel went back on just fine. mine sounded good without an amp.
