Unhappy In need of a little more music...

So here's the story. My pops, being cheap(though I still love him because he gave me his practically brand new 03 civic dx with under 30,000 miles) he didn't put anything into the car. The stereo doesn't even have a casette player.

Now going into bestbuy.com, I was looking for a something that could play CDs, maybe even HD, and possibly Mp3s perhaps. Though my problem is that according to them, nothing fits in my car, now do I have to look for a certain sized deck or what?

So bottom line, does anyone know of a deck that will fit an 03 civic dx with cd playing capabilities?

yeah...almost all decks out there will fit....all you need is the install kit you can get from bestbuy or any other car audio/electronics store........

the person that told you none of the decks fit is a complete idiot. just about every deck they carry will fit. you just need the trim piece, and adapter harness. you can get all that stuff off crutchfield for a lot cheaper than best buy.

Re: In need of a little more music...

your first mistake was going to bestbuy. thats the worst store ever next to circuit city. the beautiful thing about the 7thgen is youre not limited to single din decks, you can have a double din as well. find the deck you like. online would probably be the cheapest place. then buy a single din or double din dash kit for a 7thgen depending on what size deck you get. i would also advise you to get smart wire wiring harnesses. they make it all plug and play and install only takes a few minutes.
