Well, I am kind of embarrassed to say that I am not sure what model JL I have or the area of my box off hand
I bought it and the box came with the JL in it already. It kicked really hard in my truck but not as hard now that it is why in the trunk as opposed to right behind the seat. Sorry I could not give more info.

okay..unless you got really ripped off it's W3
in that case 2.3 cu.ft
2 3"x 11.6" Ports
That will be quite loud and still sound allright.

I think I got really ripped off mohawk oh well. Here is what I have. I think it is a W1 What I got! I talked to a guy today that built my cousins box and he said that if I wanted a little more bass that he will build me a ported box and if I wanted tighter hits he will build a closed box. What do you recommend? Thanks for all of your help!
p.s. What if I bought another W1 and had a dual box made? Would that sound better yet? Thanks again!

at that price you got ripped... I'd reccomend going with a small ported enclosure..if your friend knows what he's doing let him build you one.. if he claims to know what he's doing but you're not sure..don't trust him

Thanks Mohawk! I found some Q-logic boxes at crutchfield.com that look sweet. They have dula and single ported 10". Are those good quality boxes or am I better off with a custom build? Thanks once again!
