Is that why you don't post your pics? I thought you were into competition audio and you didn't want to give away any of your secrets? If that's not it, then would you mind e-mailing me some pics (if you have them). I'de love to see your setup.

it's a combo of Competing, Security and Lazyness.. I have 3 pics of my car..I'll scan them tomorrow. all ugly pics of my car coated in road salt in winter .

My true reason. I'm full of crap and Run a jensen HU, Funky pup subs, Rampage subs( By Audiovox) lol.. j/k..

Seriously.. I don't have a camera, I'm lazy, I work 88 hours a week. and whenever I have the time to take pics I always forget...I didn't take any before cause my system was in development and I was driving around for almost 3 months with my car in pieces lol..

I'll have a few ugly pics up by the end of the week.. none of my system except for when I first bought my car.. you'll see..it's shameful lol.

Cheers

Dude, there's nothing wrong with Rampage...I'm using rampage amps for my house stereo...in fact, everything electronic in my room is cheap...but it works, and none of it will ever touch my car, so what the hell, why not?

make sure if you got compound corners you use weave, mat 'glass will expand and puff out like MAD when you soak it, its purpose is to add bulk and strength, not a nice even finish. no matter WHAT you do, its gonna be an uneven finish, and you will have to sand, unless your project is a COMPLETELY flat surface.

as to differences between fiberglass, kevlar and fibercarbon, youll never notice it. the fibercarbon will all be for looks, kevlar just so you cna SAY its bullet proof but is it worth the extra cost? fibercarbon is $42 dollars a yard, and fiberglass is $3-$12. what is the better deal?

fiberglass turns transparent, kevlarr and fiber carbon dont. so if you royally mess up FG, just sand it smooth. NO MATTER WHAT your gonna sand your ***** off, so dont worry too much about teh finish, unless you are on a flat surface and are gonna be able to tell the difference. FC on teh otherhand, if you mess it up, your FC is destroyed, or sanded dull, that surely sucks........

in my case, it was worth the investment, and I say again to anyone aout there with a stock hood, if your only looking for looks, I still wanna play with a fibercarbon conversion, itll cost about $100 total, and I said if you volunteer your car, your only investment is teh carbon itself. but the risk is all yours, too

hey mowhawk, i never have time for glassing either, but i make time and now that my ex is 100% clean and clear my ex (no more of this friends with benefits crap) i'll have alot more time for my car ^.^

id rather have a girl tho i think im gonnna cry...... lol
