Hi, I have a '03 Civic Sedan and am doing a DIY audio install. I have been plague with problems. I broke a clip when I read the DIY article about pulling the trip around the automatic, and I have a manual. Then I broke a plastic clip holder pulling out the center console and slightly indented the vinyl around it wedging with a flat head screwdriver.

Anyway enough with my frustrations, I got a mounting kit from woofersetc.com and they sent me a American International HON-K828 mounting kit (you just enter your make and model). Well to start the damn thing doesn't is square and doesn't follow the curvature of the original stereo and sits further back so it doesn't look clean. On top of that I am doubting it is going to fit. It lists only for 02-05 Civic Si, which mine is not an Si, and it seems like I may need to be to forceful to pull it in. I really, really do not want to break anything else on my car. Does anyone have or know anything about this kit? Should it fit? Thanks, John.

Thanks, I looked it up and found out they sent me the wrong one. I sent woofersetc an email to see if they would send me the right one (rightfully so) for free. If not, or if I run out of patience I will go to bestbuy. They should just carry them on hand?
