12W7 and ported box system
hey guys i was wondering if the ho112r-w7 ported box would fit in my trunk. i have a 2003 honda civic hx. heres a website to the sub with the dimensions and specs. JL Audio: Products
i really hope this will fit. nice sub from awesome company.

It should fit but best thing to do is take a tape measure, and measure the opening of the trunk and then the height of the actual trunk and compare to the demensions. 17in tall, 34in wide, and 20.5in deep is what they say for the box if you didn't see that.

the problem will come from it hitting the speakers if you slide it all the way back but if you leave it close to the trunk lid then your good i think

Okay here is how you can be sure it will fit if you didn't pick up on it before,
1. Get measuring tape.
2. Open trunk.
3. Measure dimensions (including height) in the back of your trunk.
4. Compare to dimensions of recommended box.
Troubleshooting: If it does not fix slightly modify recommended box.
Not to be an *** but I kind of think this is a silly question.

i had HIFIBuys install to the sub's enclosure specs, so it works flawlessly in my trunk.your dimensions sounds correct. i mean if i can get a 13W7 to fit and no problems, yours will be ok. mount some tabs around the box to prevent it from moving around... mine DID..
