If you are truely worried about it you can get an Optima and/or a capacitor. Honestly I am running 2 amps off the factory battery with no problems.

Another thing you might consider doing is a higher amp rated alternator. reason for this is that the battery is only used to start the car where as the alternator supplies the power when the car is running.

I would probably recomend gettin a new battery depending on how big ur system is. I only had two audiobahn 10's with 400 rms each running with two visor monitors and I couldnt play my system for more than five minutes with the car running or it would die. Plus it will eventually put a lot of wear on the battery. I have an 01 ex coupe also. But thats just my opinion.

Cheap fix is to get a capacitor - they do a fairly good job!

Get a True Yellow top Optima. Way better than average batter. As long as your not running over 1000 RMS nothing to worry about, also get a cap.

with the car running? thats another issue. batteries arent used for anything once the car is running unless the altenator cant handle the load and drops below about 11 volts. the only time the altenator should bog down is at idle because the pulley isnt spinning fast enough to handle a massive load. bad voltage regulators wear batteries out. back to the topic at hand. ive got 2 10 inch JL's on 300 rms and i dont have any problems except lights dimming every once and a while. grab a cap and you should be fine. if that doesnt satisfy you, grab a high amp altenator but get ready to unload your wallet. a deep cycle battery is good if youre using your system without the car running a lot. they can take being drained and recharged a lot better than the stock battery.

Cap, New Alternator, And Maybe Yellow Top....but Im Running Stock Battery Should Be Fine As Long As U Play The Subs While The Car Is On Or Else Ur Battery Will Die And Also Make Sure Ur 14.5 Or 14.6 When Ur Cars On Use A Voltmeter If It Is Ur 100% Fine With Tiny Battery
