I had a quick question. I was on E-bay and was looking at in-dash LCD's and such and I came across this I was just wondering if anyone would know if you could hook up DVD, MP3, or CD capabilities to this thing? It's a steal for $510 because the Alpine CVA-1005 costs $1,200 and the NVA-751A combo costs $1,290. Anyways I was just wondering if this would be a good buy or not and your opinions on it. I think the NVA-751A is like GPS... right? Any information would be helpful.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to use the DVD, CD, MP3 all you would have to do is buy a product which does that stuff. I think basically all the Alpine one you are referring to can do is show a picture and play some radio. 40 watts x 4; 3 preamp outputs; 1 navigation input; 2 video inputs; 1 video output; integrated remote control
So basically all you would be buying is a monitor....but I could be wrong.

well here's the link for the Alpine CVA-1005 and here's the link for the Alpine NVA-751A combo... I did notice on the E-bay link that he said "You are bidding on an Alpine CVA-1005 Multi-media head unit"... does that mean I'll only be getting the screen?
