i have a 1000 watt audiobahn amp and another 800 watt 4 port which do you think would be the better for bump 2 10's or 2 twelves as far as shaking of the trunk because i dont want it to sound ugly when it beats

Depends.. if those are both class a/b Amps your car cannot support that much power...you'll definately needa high output alternator..

Why can't you use a capacitor, they're much cheaper than an alternator?

I wouldn't even know where to get a new alternator for our cars...

a capacitor only acts as a buffer, not a means of supplying more power
