you have a few options with the stock deck. If your amp has speaker wire inputs you can hook them up to it, otherwise you have to convert the speaker outputs to RCA outs to connect to the RCA inputs on the amp.

There are a few threads out there on this - others have had mixed results. I'd recommend upgrading to a decent head unit with preamp outputs....

you'll need to obtain a wiring diagram of the factory harness to figure out where your speaker wires are.

spilot - I have always opted for an aftermarket HU - neither option are all that great....do a search on this and you'll see how others have fared...

I would recommend finding someone to help you do this install. This will make it go alot smoother plus you will have the knowledge of doing it yourself plus they maybe able to teach you a few tricks along the way......

Just a thought.....

Just remember to secure all wires.....well....

Most stock head units aren't that great. Aftermarket ones are alot better and while you have your dash apart i would recommend getting an aftermarket head unit and installing it. I think you would be much happier with the sound quality and ability to upgrade easier with an aftermarket headunit also. But thats just my two cents.

i wouldnt even try it, you can get a pretty nice alpine head unit on ebay for cheap (150 or so), and they sound sooo much better. stock headunit on the vics is crap.
