HeadUnit Code? NEED HELP!!!

Sorry if this problem has already been posted but i searched for awhile and couldnt find anything.

I just bought this headunit off a member on here who im waiting for a responce back from but until then I was hoping someone else might have some advice. Anyways I wanted to bring my audio setup back to stock so I bought a stock headunit and started installing it today. Once I got the dash ripped out I plugged this new one in just to test it out and on the screen it says "CODE" then it lets me type in like 4 or 5 numbers then it comes up and says ERR1. I tried afew more times just messing around and im on ERR4 now so I was just wodering where I get this code from...
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
Doug

The stereo comes with a little piece of paper that's usually found in your owners manual. It has the code to unlock it. And I also think you only get a few times to try (which is why you have an ERR4)... Ya might be up **** creek...

What you can do is go to a honda dealership with the serial number of the stereo and proof of ownership of the car. The only problem I can see is since you bought it from someone else they serial might be linked to their VIN.

The serial is linked to the vehicle that it is out of's VIN number. This is a theft security feature, which is why it's asking you for a code. Ask the person that you bought it from for the code. If they don't have the card it's on a sticker under the hood and in the door jam. If they can't find it, make them go to the dealer and get the code for you. I'd also post a thread in the transaction forum, as it might get resolved quicker.
