Would a home DVD player work in a car? Woudln't bumps and things like that make it a little unhappy? I don't know if those home systems are made to take that

A Home DVD player is too big to be anything resembling practicle..and it's not made to absorb shock like the one's made for cars are.

why would you want to go through the trouble? just get an indash player, skip free and saves space. i guess you'd need a wall outlet adapter, but is the car battery strong enough for that?

p.s. i think it would have skipping problems too.
