dam dude, um for some reason it almost seems like most of us are now having problems with our dash lights. My odometer screen doesn't light up anymore and sometimes my fan speed **** for the A/C doesn't light up. WTF??? I always thought maybe the lights burn out or in your case the circuits gets fried becuase you know how the dash lights will dim when the stereo is on blast.

Try jumper wire solder befor and after the burn if possible.
what do you have to lose it already fried.
Worst case you get a new cluster and then have the dealer or shop put a sticker in the door jam that qoutes the milage difference.
or send it to GEARBOX and see if he can work some magic

Well if he can tell me how to take my instrument pannel appart, send it to him, and fix it up to be bright again, im down. The only thing I dont want to happen is my head unit plastic enclosure breaking b/c I always break it when I remove my head unit.

i cant fix circuit traces. looks like a mishap with the dimmer wire grounding out from a deck install. i've seen this before. its not fused so it destroys the illum circuit. easiest way is get a new cluster, or send it to me and I'll wire in leds on a separate circuit so you just connect the + and - wires.

i got a new circuit board i can sell you. the cluster reads 52,622 miles on it. if you want it i will sell it cheap. cheaper than a new one nad cheaper than fixing
or you can buy the whole cluster but its only got three needles. gauges are already cleared and red too
