SAVE SOME $$$ Mounting Infinity Kappas
SAVE SOME $$$ Mounting Infinity Kappas
F.Y.I.
Save your money, don't make spacers or buy them for that matter if you just purchased a new pair of Infinity Kappas for your Vic. **This may or may not have been posted yet.**
Here's what you do:
1. Take the grill that came with your new speakers and seperate the two pieces that it is comprised of. (You should end up with a ring and the front of the Infinity grill.)
2. Turn the ring portion upside down and put screws through the speaker and ring
3. Mount speaker to the door. (If you want to, put some dynamat or foam between the ring and door to avoid any kind of rattle.)
4. Replace Door Panel
There you go, you saved yourself some $$ maybe even a little time.
I'm not sure if this trick works for all Infinity speakers but it does for the Kappa Components (6.5'').
