i own a 2002 civic lx coupe, and just recently bought a 10 inch mtx sub and amp, i need to know if its better to build it right into the floor, or to build a custom box so its in the side of the trunk or something, i want something thats really appealing and looks great, but also gives me a lot of trunk space. Also i need to know the best way to build it into the ground because im gunna be honest, i have no clue how to mod the trunk floor so i can build the sub in correctly. thanx for your help.

there is a diy here in the ice forum where you can make a door for the spare to pull it out even with sub box on top. if you want the sub in the bottom where the tire is, you gotta make a custom enclosure.

if you put it in the floor you wont have the right size encloser most likely, also you lose alot mroe space because you CANNOT! put stuff on top of it.
