You are under powering your subs but it should be loud enough for you. As for wiring go here http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/wo...igurations.asp and put in 2 4 ohm Dual Voice coil. It will give you 2 options. 1 ohm wired in Parallel and 4 ohm wired in series/parallel. You have to wire it the second way that gives you 4 ohm. Your amp isnt stable to 1 ohm so if you wire it like that you will end up over heating your amp, which will cause it too turn off all the time and burn it out quicker.

Depends how you want to wire it. You only need a mono amp or you can look for a 2 channel that you can bridge to mono. Look for something that puts out 800 W at either 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

Those subs suck. Sorry but I killed one with a JL 500/1 while I was waiting for Diamond Audio to fix my subs.

Also RMS is what really matters with amps. Just wait until you compensate for less power by turning up the gains, clip the sub, and drive home without any bass....

im not too found of audiobahn (i owned a pair of their subs and 2 of their amps). as for that amp/sub setup, its not the best but im sure it'll work for starters.

the bass wont be extremely loud, but it'd be enough to shake up your rear view mirror pretty bad. as for loudness and being heard down the block, i doubt it.

id personally look into something else unless you can get this setup for dirt cheap

One thing you'll learn with car audio is that what they CLAIM and what the amp pushes can be totally different. you get what you pay for. Listen to people in Audio Forums and you'll get an idea of whats good. Here's a good buy depending on what it ends up selling for...
