reccomended box sizes
subwoofer box size reccomendation...
i have 2 12's (audiobahn aw1200x) in a 1.25 cubic feet per speaker box...
now my box is old as $hit and is falling apart and i would like to build a new one better fitting my trunk space needs...
i'm sitting here looking up the specs for my subs and im given a ludicrously large range on box size...
min. sealed - .7 cubic feet
max. sealed - 1.56 cubic feet
it has been years since i was heavily into building boxes and such for subs, so ive forgotten what an optimal size is, plus i'm not used to dealing with this brand... so yeah, im curious as to if i should stick to another 1.25 per speaker box, or if i should go smaller... i'm looking for a nice mix of spl and sq, but leaning more towards spl... mohawk, white rabbit... post on.. heh.

Maybe on the audiobahn website it may have a recommendation for a box size.
The audibahn pre-made boxes are pretty nice looking too!
I was curious, if anybody knows a lot about audiobahn subs, if the ABB122Q sub/box combo is any good? I live in Cali and Audiobahn's seem like their easy to find out here for cheap!

oddly enough the humongous database that that program has didnt include my subs... but i entered all the info, .84 cubic feet per speaker... ill prolly just go for .8 or .9 to make it easier on me.

so mohawk, i was fiddling with the winISD program, and at the box size it reccomended to me, i saw a drop in response at lower tones... would it really be all that noticeable in the low tones if i dropped from 1.25 to .837??
