Daisy chained widgets
Okay, so they aren't exactly widgets. But I've got some floor pedals that need a 12v source, and 3 neons (each neon is actually two tubes seperate from each other, but each set of two only needs a single 12v lead) the idea is to put 1 (a set of 2) neon in each footwell besides the driver's footwell; under the glovebox, attatched to the understide of my chair, and the passengers chair. Now, that makes 4 12v thingies.
I want them all controlled by a single switch, and i would prefer to have them hardwired simply through the firewall into an in-line singular fuse box, and straight to thebattery. Then again, i will be getting an amp later, so i dont need a buncha crap winding its way to my battery.
Its a 2005 Honda Civic Si HB, if anyone has any ideas, or constructive critisism (besides "Lights are gay!") then feel free

go to radio shack sir, and buy yourself two barrier strips, one for 12v+, one for ground

then, get yourself two barrier strip jumpers

the jumpers allow you to run one single wire with power or ground to the first position, and it leaves you with 7 empty slots that you can use for whatever you please
it also leaves you with room to add more in the future if you please
theeeeeeeeeeeeeeen
get yourself a single toggle switch, and put it inline with the single wire supplying power to your barrier strip
then find yourself a location to put the barrier strips, and glue them, screw them, tape them, to whatever you please. i have two of them attached to a piece of metal behind the panel with the cigaretter lighter. i run relays, the + for my headunit, and a variety of other things off them
the beauty of them, is that you can very very easily add, or remove, one single piece of equipment, without disturbing another
