Could someone please tell me how and why would someone want to daisy chain two amps together.
Why?
How?
What are the advantages/disadvantages?

ok son here you go
pick up a RF power diverter...run 4gauge to the inverter, then run 8 gauge to each amp, or 4 gauge. then place a fuse between the second line, make sure both lines have their own fuse. its really easy

What would that do?
I don't understand the whole concept, why would you do this , what is a practical explanation for it.
I probably sound dumb but can't seem to get my head around the idea.
thanks for understanding.

its ok, your a newbie we all been there..
a diverter takes 1 power line, slplits into 2, or 4 lines.
you run a 4g to the diverter, then you run up to 4 or so other amps off of there.....its really very simple

i think we nee dsome clarification of daisychaining. bballer is telling you how to connect multipe power lines to multiple amps (im gussing, thats not so clear either)
are you talking about bridging together the outputs of 2 amps together to get more power? or are you talkign about dasiychaning the INPUTS of the amp together, to get teh same signal going to multiple amps?

I'm not sure either!
I read in the manual of the amps that it can be done but dont understand what the hell it means.
I know how to get power to two amps /did that .
I think it's got something to do with the inputs and outputs ????????

he's talking about strapping 2 amps together to one voice coil.. DEI amps.. memphis Studio amps, and a few others can do this with what's called a strapping unit.. basically one end of each RCA goes into the amp so both amps are feeding out the EXACT same signal, virtually doubling the power going to the voice coil. the Zapco. 9.0 is a pair of Zapco 4.0's internally strapped together and put in one housing..
