Question QUESTION: How did you run your wires?

Hey everyone, I just got a new 7th gen civic hybrid and am wondering how you guys ran your wires? (im a newb)

Im trying to look for a hole in my firewall to put the wires through, but i can't seem to find out. can anyone show me (pictures preferably) where they ran their wires through?

I'm planning to install a computer and some subs in my car and just need to breach through the firewall or some other location in order to wire it all together.

Please help!

-total newm.

It may or may not be in the same spot on your hybrid.

Look for a large bundle of wires on the drivers side up underneath the dash if you can't find anything else - that's where I ran my power lead.

The 12V battery in the hybrid is on the drivers side so you will probably want to run it down that side.

There should be a gromet about half way down the firewall infront of the driver. Look for a whole bunch of wires going through the firewall and I think there is another unused gromet below that.

Failing that you can find a gromet or two on the panel between the front fender and the inside of the cabin.

I'd take pictures but my car is in the body shop being fixed from a hit and run. (sorry just had to have a minor vent there)

Behind the induction BOX there is a BLUE plug! Put on it and your IN. The hole is big enough to fit all your wires through it! Even a ZERO gage wire. Hope this helps

u should also try to run your signal wires on a different side of the car from the power wires to reduce chances of induced noise

In the pic with the WHITE intake (sideways shot) you can see a BLUE WIRE, follow the wire and you'll see the BLUE PLUG I speek of. Any questions?
