2006 Civic stock HU in a 2004?
2006 Civic stock HU in a 2004?
Does anyone know if this is even possible? I have a friend at a junkyard and they just got a totaled '06 Civic, with the silver HU still inside. Gave me a heads up on it, but I don't want to spend the cash if it won't fit. Anyone have an ideal if it'll work, even with the recent design change? It's either this or a double-DIN I've been looking at...

i am fairly sure it will fit. the dx has a standard din size radio, but it might be tricky fitting it in our stock dash due to the curves. unless you have an aftermarket dash kit.
I spend way too much time on this website

honda changed the harness in 2006. you can find a pinout diagram on 8thgencivic.com, but your still going to have to get ahold of an OEM harness either through a junk yard (good luck) or wait until scoshe or metra comes out with a reverse harness.
