Are they quality or am i gonna drop 500 bills on something that is gonna break in 6 months, cuz i obviously DONT want to drop mad money then have it break....(if These things are pieces of S**t tell me !) I dunno if you have experience or know someone Im really curious what u guys have to say....I know SOMEONE has had to of worked with or owned one of these things....Your honest input is greatly appreciated...Thanks in Advance

Jenson is complete crap. Ive installed 2 of these flip out units into cars when i worked at audio express. we didn't sell them but they brought them in to have them installed. the first one lasted 4 days before they returned asking why it didn't work it would get power but the motor was broken. the next one was a little over a month before it just went dead. But i never had a problem with any of the pioneer or alpine flip outs ever.
Thanks, I appreciate it. This guy over where i live wants fcukin like 1200 for a clarion touchscreen installed and im like uhhhhh dude 1200 ???? Ughhh right thats a lil out of my price range. I saw the Audiovox n Jensen ones on Ebay and i was like this is too good to be true n by ur remarks, it obviously is lol...Do u know of a good one that is good quality w/o getting raped in the *** for 1200 bills or more??? I got 700 bills i dunno what i wanna do with it. I originally wanted the TV but i dunno...There arent too many people who do alot of **** with the 7th gens around here so anything i try n do (motor wise) is gonna be on me, n i honestly dont trust myself. lol...So I dunno but i appreciate it

Tv's are nice but after a while you don't even realize you have it there fun as a new toy. I always had music videos playing on mine for liek a month. But if yo uwant a TV you could always mold one and relocate your cd/dvd player its alot cheaper than a flipout. like alot of members includeing myyself have done. I don't even turn on mine for an onscreen disply hardley anymore.

How much cheaper than a flipout?.... and after saying that do u feel like u wasted your money or what ?
- and how tough was that to do..Im sure it took you a while at least, it does look a tad bit complicated

mine was actually really cheap because i got my pioneer dvh-p5000mp through insurance, and the TV was $130 for a refurbished one, with a full warranty. but your can get decent DVD/CD players for around $350 now. and about had the fiberglass and bondo around from projects. but there is really no rewirieng or anything involved all the wires are long enough. but if i could do it again i would have definatly went for a touch screen.

don't waste your money on any cheap junk if you want something elaborate like a flip out lcd HU. if you insist on going with something high end like that, spend the money to get the actual high end stuff, otherwise it kinda defeats the purpose imo.
yaaa thats the thing it's hard to find good stuff around here cuz im stuck in the middle of ****in nowhere so everything you find is usually really pricey n **** n i KNOW i can find cheaper prices, so i usually do the Ebay thing. The guy that wanted 1200 for the clarion said 'if it's too good to be true, it probably is'. And he is right in some sense, but 1200 bucks ?...wtf i'd rather slap on a turbo or get some juice and have some fun ya know ?...but i appreicate all ur comments guys really. I was soo lost i didnt know what to do n i have a problem with impluse buying, so thanks a bunch...Do u know any units that are reasonably priced ?...I didnt wanna spend more than 700 but i dunno if i can find anything at that price...I dont need it installed, cuz that's easy, you'd have to have a serious mental disorder not to know how to put a CD player in lol

have a look at the pioneer avh-p5700dvd. it is their entry level flipout model, it's pretty basic as far as features go, but you can expect good quality out of it. They are pretty cheap on ebay, mabe you can get one for 700, but definitely not much more than that.
Lets just say, not enough quality or very little quality. If I were going to buy a DVD player, I wouldn't purchase any of those. They're just not worth my money, IMO. And if you're gonna go big, you're gonna spend kinda big, but go right and get it right the first time. If you want a flip out, Valor is a good brand for the money. But other than that, just go name brand, but better than Audiovox and Jensen. Or just get an indash Alpine or JVC DVD Player.
