Drilled a hole..Ut oh
Drilled a hole..Ut oh
Alright well i was trying to install the windsheild washer lights, and i was running my wire...so when i got to the part when i had to bring it through the to the inside, i couldnt find a place to pull it through besides a grommit on passenger's side but my wiring was to short to run over there and then runn all the way to the drivers side...so i decided i was going to drill a hole in the fire wall, jus a tiny one on the drivers side, but then i decided i wasnt going to use the lights anymore so i have this small hole on my drivers side, im not getting any water in it, but im going to cover it up, is it a big deal that i drilled a hole?...

next time u want to run wires, do it though the garments that are already there, one of the pass side, another around the drivers somewhere. If you have a problem with the lenth of the wire, just extend them. But REALLY if no water is getting in, just use some e-tape so bugs dont make a new home and enjoy a new hole
Oh and u can also buy little garments and ****, check out your local high performace audio stores for these.

go to an auto parts store and get some strip caulk, itll seal up the hole, but still allow for easy removal if you want to pull wire through. We use it all the time in our shop when the hole drillled for the grommet is a bit too big
