How to disable alarm confirmation tone?

My buddy has a 2005 Accord LX and he has a dealer-installed alarm. Every time he unlocks he gets 2 loud honks and lock is 1 loud honk. He is pretty annoyed by this loud confirmation honk and he wants to turn the sound off. Do you guys know how?

there should be a red light or whatever that indicates the alarm under the steering wheel.. there's a button on the back of that light. click it off and it should work. ( 04 civic ) i dont really know about accords.

The dealer installed the LED on the dash where the EX sunroof switch would be. He couldn't find any buttons either. My buddy had the alarm installed weeks after he bought the car though. Maybe the alarm can be programmed through the remote?

just bring it back to the dealer, pretty sure they can reprogram it for free.

The dealer said the sound can't be turned off, according to my friend . Maybe the dealer is just full of ****.
