Need Help - Problem with stock head unit

Hi, I just got a used factory head unit (cd player) for my 01 civic and it says code 1 on it. Every time I press a button it says error and the anti theft light keeps blinking. How can I fix this problem? thnx for your help in advance!

You need to enter in the security code. Who did you get it from?

ok i got the code from the dealership...however there is no sound coming at all, no static either. I have no idea why. I plugged in my aftermarket headunit into the stock wire harness and bam the sound was there. As soon as I plug in the factory unit, the sound goes away; i turned the volume all the way up and still nothing. Any ideas why this might be and how can i go about fixing this. thanks in advance guys.
