WTF are you talking about?.. how about lets start from the begining.. as in what HU you ahve , what amps your setup etc.. then we could presume to help you out.
Yeah...umm... bass reffers to low frequencies, and you are running highs. Now highs can mean 3 things, tweeters or midbass woofers or both. If both is the case, I wouldnt bother much with a bass boost option on the amplifier or headunit. If you have a sub, there is no need to play with that.

It's a remote bass control **** that comes with the amp.The amp is to power components in front and 6x9's in rear. I don't think you use it that's why I'm asking. I've used it on a mono amp before .The amp is a MTX Thunder 5604 for the highs.MTX Thunder 4501 Class D Mono for 1 10" Type R. Alpine 9855 HU. All the speakers are Infinity's

the **** should make no difference anyway. assuming your running a sub, your front stage amp should be highpassed and therefore unaffected by the bass boost
