Just finished putting in my IVA-D310 in my 05 SE coupe last night. I didnt use a kit, just mounted it, and used the metra H-88-9900 pocket above. Trim ring also fit perfect in there covering up the small gaps. I had asked a few times on several threads if anyone had done this yet, but no replies. Hope you all like!

Does the center console bevel in like that normally or is that a special piece? I've seen a few pictures of people that have that, but in my '04 lx coupe the head unit face sits flush with everything else. Maybe its just that metra kit, I really have to get one of those if it is.

its special from the SE civic. since it comes with the double din hu.

Its the SE console piece. I used the metra pocket and ISO mounted the Headunit just like the factory unit is. The opening is a little bigger than double din still, so I installed the trim ring around the radio.

it dosent look too bad but the non SE trim looks aliitle more flush with after market systems

if i was going to go double din i would possibly pick up the SE trim
