how to add remote to 01 civic?

I have an 01 civic ex sedan and I'd like to know how to program a 2nd alarm transmitter into the security system. Both keys are the original ones from the car but only 1 of the transmitters is recognized, both keys work.

thanks

are you talking about the bypass module to install an remote start security car system?

if so, you need the bypass transponder...heres what i came up with:

Interface Module: Category:
Immobilizer Bypass Required:
Yes Type:
Transponder
Part #: 556HW
Alternate Part1 #: 556UW
Alternate Part2 #: 555I
Alternate Part3 #: 555U
Alternate Part4 #: DesignTech 20402
Alternate Part5 #: DesignTech 29402

ok, didn't work.

I programed both transmitters just like it said. For each one the car locked/unlocked saying it recognized the transmitter. then once I exited the programming mode only the 1 transmitter still worked, same one that worked before. So, I don't think the other transmitter is bad since it recognized it while programming, but maybe the alarm brain is faulty?

well, the 2nd transmitter has never worked since I got the car 2 weeks ago. so I figured I'd try programming in the transmitter to make it work again.. and since that failed.. something is broken.. and I'm leaning toward the alarm brain.

after going outside today I noticed the windshield is delaminating from the plastic pieces below and to the sides on the pillars, what could break next
