Battery light saga
So I put a new tranny in the car this week, got everything running, and thought that was end end of my worries for awhile. Today I'm driving and the battery light comes on. When I have my foot on the gas, it goes away. When I'm at idle, it stays on constant. I run about 750-800RMS with a 1 farad cap and a yellow top. Maybe the alt just decided to die.....

lol. It was the alternator. It's charging at a whopping 9.72. How's that for impressive? Without the battery, the car dies immediately. $140 new but I found a ton of junkyards with them from 30-50 bucks but they're not open until Monday dammit!

have you checked your voltage at idle?
