I had a jl 300/4 and jl 500/1 hooked up on my alumapro 5 farad cap and occasionally had lights dimming, I even had a altima yellow top instead of the stock battery. My best sugesstion would be to tune your amps properly and maybe add a second cap or one large cap instead.

just get a good battery and you should be fine

more caps is the LAST thing you should ever have to do

In my trucks system I have 2 yellow tops, and an Alumapro 15 farad, but then again it also has a 170 amp alternator. Id say put a Yellow Top in, and maybe a bigger cap.

get rid of the cap, and forget adding a bigger or more of them all its doing its causing more draw on ur electrical system to keep them charged up. first get a bigger battery kinetic, svr, stinger, odyssey, gnb the list goes on and on, and dont listen to the kids tellin u optima unless ur runnin it alone for the stereo only. look for sumthin over 2000cca drycell and if u still have problems then look into upgrading to a bigger amperage alt, when u do look for sumthin over 200amp atleast, its better to go a lil to big then not enough and the difference in price isnt worth redoining. just my 2cents hope it helps
