want a navigation system on my 02 EX
I am thinking about getting in-dash navigation system for my 02 ex.
thing is i have pioneer's MP3 player already, and I want to put both my pioneer's in-dash MP-3 player, and navigation system on my dash board.
Is it possibe??
seems like I can only put one head unit on my dashboard.
and, if i can do that, do how can i wire two head unit for one speaker?? is it possible???

Or, you could simply buy the double din dash kit and mount two decks in the Stock location. I'd recommend putting the unit with monitor on the bottom so as to prevent completely blocking your ac vents.

Carputers are a hassle for the novice to put in. The only simple ones are waay over priced. See drivesoft, Icon's carputer, etc. Unless you know your way around basic computer stuff, the average joe would have a tough time integrating one into their car, not to mention if you've never fiberglassed, it'd be a real tough task to undertake.

i think crutchfield and bestbuy will show our car not compatible with d1, do you guys just buy the double-din mounting kit and install it yourself? what kind of mod if it's needed?

To fit the d1, you have to cut the middle piece out of the double din kit. There's a divider in there for 2 hu's. Remove it and you can easily install teh d1, among other double din headunits. A razor, knife, rotozip, dremel, anything really will get this job done rather quickly and easily. Someone here has Kenwood's double din screen, and some have the d1 in there, and I believe I've seen at least one person here with Eclipse's double din navi unit as well. It's not a hard process at all.

Don't get the D1 unless you don't want DVD, the N2 has DVD and works just the same as the D1 only its not double din like the D1. IMO the N2 is alot better.
hey guys i got the pioneer n2 and is there a way to put it on the bottom instead of the top part of the deck. cause i kinda dont want it to block the ac vents but the shop only has the top din and iono how to put it on the bottom.

. you'll have navigation, and you'll have your deck! (which you won't be using much because all your music'll be on your carputer)
